We are seeking a content writer who can produce impressive content to be used on our website and other online outlets to attract customers and raise awareness of the products we offer. Avercast is a supply chain software company. Content will be industry specific. Familiarity in software and supply chain is not required but would be a benefit.
We are looking for someone proficient in English, confident in their writing abilities, and who has exceptional communication skills. The right candidate is motivated to continually improve their writing skills and has a history of excellent writing in English. The ideal candidate is a versatile self-starter, and someone who values solid storytelling through a variety of mediums
While the following criteria is a general guideline for what we are looking for, we will make some exceptions for in-house applicants as we do our best to promote from within our organization.
Create content to be used for blog posts, social media, press releases, and on other platforms.
Submit work to supervisor for approval and input.
Work experience in PPC add copies.
Research industry-related topics.
Collaborate/coordinate with the marketing team to prepare various marketing collateral and communications for both public and internal use.
Incorporate feedback into your work & constantly strive to improve your writing abilities.
Write high-quality content that reflects the Avercast brand, meets the end-users needs and drives utilization of technology applications.
Compose and develop content for all communication channels and across mediums (digital, print, web).
Learn the functions of internally developed software to write end-user documentation (such as online help, quick reference guides, and release notes).
Gain a general understanding of Avercast technology offerings and solutions.
Self-educate on the trends and emerging technologies in the supply chain software (namely forecasting and demand planning) field.
Communicate highly technical information to a non-technical audience.
Evaluate and suggest improvements to writing processes, standards, and guidelines.
Edit and polish existing content to improve readability.
Make decisions independently and in a timely manner.
Ensure that the all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone) of your work conforms to the established guidelines implemented by the Marketing Director.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in any Technical field,
Content Writing experience, PR, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills in English.
Must be well spoken in the English language.
Experience researching using multiple sources.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as a professional content writer.
An in-depth understanding of supply chain management business practice is considered a plus.
We are a global company, so international experience is also a plus.
