About the job

Needs to have business acumen and confidence to face clients and lead the overall SEO practice for Digitas.


· Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities

· Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages

· Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific

· Help to create and support marketing content (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers)

· Develop and execute successful SEO strategies

· Manage team of SEO Specialists

· Conduct keyword research to guide content teams

· Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes

· Optimize website content, landing pages and provide UI/UX recommendations

· Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)

· Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects

· Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated to SEO strategy

· Manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy

· Communication to clients, team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results

· Collaborate on client strategy and goal definition for success

· Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends



· Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar role

· Atleast 6+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

· Strong understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process

· Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.)

· Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments

· Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration

· High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

· Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including but not limited to Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, etc.

· Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and paid sources

· Knowledge of HTML/CSS

· Experience with SEO reporting

· Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)

· Excellent communication and client-facing skills

· Strong organizational and leadership skills

· Analytical mind-set with numerical aptitude

· BSc/BA in Marketing, Business or related field
