As a Copywriter, you’ll create innovative and effective digital content for Target.com and email marketing. This includes both editorial and promotional copy, written in the Target brand voice and balanced with a clear, concise, easy-to-navigate approach. You’ll be asked to merge consumer insights/data with creative best practices, and to quickly adapt to shifting priorities. You’ll need to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and innovations in digital marketing/ecommerce, and of course, ensure the accuracy of your copy. Copywriters work within Target Creative, Target’s in-house creative department. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Four-year college degree and/or equivalent work experience
1+ years of copywriting experience, digital/ecommerce copywriting experience preferred
Knowledge of ecommerce and digital marketing best practices
Ability to tailor your writing to a specific brand voice
Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines
Portfolio of samples showcasing creative work
