Thomson Reuters is searching for an SEO specialist to join a team of digital experts and to help drive a pivotal, large-scale digital transformation. You will be working with a highly collaborative team of digital experts responsible for our primary marketing and demand generation websites, which serve thousands of customers in the legal and tax industries.

As an SEO specialist, you will be responsible for partnering and implementing strategies that align with our digital transformation, new operating model, and search-optimized content creation. You will be an expert consultant on organic search best practices, and you’ll deliver critical search insights that bring results.
You will focus on all market segments in a phased approach, and you will also influence across the enterprise, guiding the priorities and progress of the Product Content team. You’ll be working with product content creations to create, execute, and deliver a world-class digital experience.
Provide strategic, data-driven guidance across the enterprise to plan and execute the SEO work that will best deliver on our customers’ search needs and the company’s growth goals.
Create search-optimized content, such as meta titles, meta descriptions, URLs image alt tags Etc.,
Design and deliver SEO reports and dashboards to monitor and report on organic search KPIs, and quickly respond to emerging issues.
Analyze traffic and conversion trends to gain insight and take action.
Deliver actionable reporting levels for the SEO team, Web Strategies leadership, marketing partners, and senior management.
Diagnose and prioritize website performance issues that affect SEO.
Own and understand one of our major market segment’s SEO needs; partner with the segment marketing team to provide recommendations and education.
Own cross-functional initiatives between SEO and other teams.
Essential Skills And Experience
3-4+ years of in-house experience in an enterprise-level web environment.
BA/BS degree; Business or Marketing preferred.
Deep knowledge of search best practices and trends, with a genuine interest in how and why people search.
Track record of successfully driving significant SEO results and business growth in an enterprise environment.
Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate SEO concepts and priorities across all levels of the organization, particularly through data and reporting.
High level of ownership, taking pride in your work, and pushing through challenges to deliver strong results.
Strong working knowledge of major SEO tools such as BrightEdge, STAT, Conductor, Search Console, MOZ, etc
Great partnership and collaboration skills, and the ability to drive progress in a hybrid agile environment.
Experience with Adobe martech stack is strongly preferred
Team leadership / management is a plus (this role has no direct reports, however).
Experience working with developers and UX designers is a plus.
