We are looking to hire a Content Editor to plan, review and edit content with the objective of engaging, educating, and converting blog and website visitors. In this role, you will work closely with our team of content specialists and network of content agencies to craft exceptional, informative, and compelling content that is optimized for high SERP performance and educates readers on our product capabilities.
Years of Experience – 4 Years+
The roles and responsibilities:
Coordinate with content and SEO specialists to create and refresh content in order to capture crucial SERP real estate
Proofread, edit and improve content – blogs, SEO web pages, long-form guides, and whitepapers, submitted by internal and external writers
Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with the targeted audience’s preferences
Oversee layout (artwork, design, CMS) and optimize for conversion
Set publication standards and establish goals and expectations
Continually monitors performance and pursues the improvement of strategies and implementation
Recruit and manage writers and freelancers
Meet deadlines and budget requirements
Key Experience & Skill Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, English or Journalism
Masters of Common Sense. With a Basic understanding of the digital space.
We are looking for someone with some experience under their belt.
Experience creating B2B content and communications strategies that use effective content marketing techniques
Exceptional communication skills and exemplary writing skills
Ability to develop and train teams and leadership on content creation, and distribution.
Ready to challenge the status quo and ability to multi-task projects/deliverables
A natural and intuitive researcher. Habitually on top of inspiring, cutting-edge trends and developments.
Knowledge of MS Office suite and Google Apps.
The confidence to take direction and constructive criticism well.
