Develop content strategies that align with and set out to achieve marketing goals

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intensive research to gain an in-depth understanding of audience personas
  • Conduct extensive research on the topics, trends and consumer’s thoughts
  • Craft out content pillars and sub-pillars
  • Plan on the editorial calendar and proposition of content
  • Strategize and improve content delivery and promotion
  • Work with the Content Marketing Executives, creative teams, and writers to execute the strategy
  • Oversee the writing tone and style guide for all the content
  • Develop content governance guidelines and ensure that they are met
  • Conduct content audits on a periodical basis
  • Track and measure content ROI
  • Ensure that the content strategy achieves marketing objectives
  • Conduct keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs
  • Monitor web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates)
  • Review and update published content as needed
  • Proofread and edit written pieces before publication


  • Proven work experience as a Content Strategist, Content Manager or similar role
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Content presentation skills (to be able to determine how content should be packaged for new and existing consumers, to induce them to take business actions)
  • Content Delivery Skills (to determine the best distribution channel to deliver content to your audience)
  • Multitasking and organizational skills (to handle several types of projects and people regularly)
  • Editorial competency (to conduct thorough audits to determine what content to be kept, edited, rewritten, and more)
  • Experience in handling and strategizing marketing campaigns
  • Good Analytical abilities to spot patterns and trends in content marketing data
  • Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Exceptional marketing and collaborative skills
  • Experience in project management is a plus
  • Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing
  • Ability to guide and motivate team members

Education and Experience Requirements:

Graduation/MBA(Marketing)/Mass com and journalism(preferred)/advertising

Mandate Skills:

  • Should have knowledge of Email
  • Marketing communication and excellent written English communication
